Social Responsibility

Dear PALR Lovers

A few days ago we went to the ISS SHOW (Imprinted Sportswear Shows)
We went through and picked up a few catalogs to find a shirt line that we feel comfortable with
Particularly our biggest concern is how their workers are treated
Because of our contributions to non profits around the world
We wanted to devote our inclusion of helping to create jobs in the USA

Sadly out of the hundreds of companies we saw
Only less than a handful of their clothing is made in the USA
US Blanks
American Apparel
And Royal Apparel
Right now out of everyone we talked to we decided that the strongest contender
Is US Blanks

The other attribute that we wanted to consider
Is their representation of races in their catalogs
Again sadly most of the catalogs are lacking in equal race representation
There was even one company that speaks of being social responsible
Yet when we look through their catalogs
Their incorporation of various races as models is lacking

Will our cost be higher because of us choosing to go with companies that produce in the US
Perhaps
What we try to do, is to work out a fair price for both our customers and those who buy wholesale
At the end of the day what might end up happening
Is that we ourselves as producers might have to take a cut from the industry standard
And trust that our generosity and desire for fair work ethics will elevate our sales

Just wanted to keep you posted on the production aspect

In the mean time,
we are working on printing a handful of shirts
And also on art prints and stickers for our fans
Particularly one special fan named Henry
Henry took a strong liking to a particular design and his mother asked us to make prints for him
So the first printing will be called
"The Henry Edition" of that particular printing
It comes out Super Bowl Sunday
Selling at PCC (Pasadena City College) Graphic Department Open House
Starting at 9 AM till 1:30 PM
Come check us out
